Most printer cartridges can be
remanufactured, refilled or reloaded.
Recycling is a hot issue and another huge growth industry. Here are
a few good reasons to recycle printer cartridges:
- More than 3.4 litres (3/4 gallon) of oil are needed to make one
new laser cartridge
- In just 12 months, cartridge recycling could save 15 million
litres of oil in the UK
- 47 Million cartridges go into UK landfills each year and is
increasing annually *
* Source : Recycler Magazine December 2000
- Laser printer cartridges account for over 90% of all throw-away
cartridges
- A laser cartridge thrown into landfill can take up to 450 years to
decompose
- Buying a new cartridge uses more resources with a higher cost to
you
As well as being environmentally responsible, recycling cartridges
also creates jobs.
- Our remanufactured cartridges are produced locally in your area
(compared to new cartridges which are mass produced overseas and
sold by local dealers)
- Our cartridges are locally recycled, supporting the local
community
First of all, they save money. By refilling and recycling their
cartridges instead of buying new ones, people can save up to 50% on
the cost of a new cartridge. As replacement cartridges are very
expensive, that's a great saving!
Also, because recycling cartridges is environmentally friendly,
people feel good about supporting sustainable development for the
planet's limited resources. |
